void is an open-source design system built for AI coding agents rather than humans: a set of Claude Code skills that encode how well-built websites are made, a Tailwind v4 token system that limits what an agent can reach for, and a CLI that checks the result in a real browser instead of by opinion. It targets the gap where a frontier model can produce a great site after many iterations, but a faster pass tends to look generic, run heavy, and skip SEO.
The workflow is skills, then tokens, then build, then lint, then audit, then ship. Nine Claude Code skills (website, craft, motion, components, inspire, speed, seo, a11y, audit) guide the build, six OKLCH token directions supply the visual system, and the `void` CLI lints source against static rules and audits a live URL for performance, smoothness, accessibility, SEO, GEO (AI-crawler visibility) and design, each scored 0-100.
